Shakti Cove Cottages Reservation & Cancellation Policies



Reservations & Deposits

To confirm your reservation, a deposit is required at the time of booking.

  • Stays of 1–3 nights: Deposit equal to the first night's stay, including applicable taxes, pet fees, and extra person fees.
  • Stays of 4 nights or more: Deposit equal to 50% of the reservation total, plus taxes.
  • A valid Visa, MasterCard, or Discover card is required for all reservations.

Minimum Stay Requirements

  • A two-night minimum stay is required from April 1 through October 31.
  • A two-night minimum also applies during holidays and peninsula events.
  • The second night becomes non-refundable upon arrival.

Check-In & Check-Out

  • Check-in: From 3:00 PM
  • Check-out: By 11:00 AM

Please check in at the office unless other arrangements have been made. If you expect to arrive after 9:00 PM, please contact us in advance.

Additional Guests

  • Extra guest fee: $20 per person, per night (plus tax).
  • Rollaway beds, cots, and sleeping pads are not provided.
  • Guests are welcome to bring their own bedding accommodations.

Occupancy recommendations:

  • One additional guest is recommended for 1- and 2-bedroom cottages.
  • Up to two additional guests are recommended for Apartments.
  • The Cabin accommodates a maximum of two guests.

Pet Policy

Dogs are welcome.

  • Pet fee: $10 per pet, per night (plus tax).
  • Additional cleaning fees may apply if excessive cleaning is required following your stay.

Cleaning & Smoking Fees

To maintain the quality of our accommodations:

  • Additional cleaning fees ranging from $50 to $500 may be charged when extraordinary cleaning is required.
  • Smoking inside units may result in additional cleaning and restoration charges.

Whole Cove Rentals

Perfect for family reunions, retreats, weddings, and group gatherings.

  • Available for groups reserving 8 or more cottages.
  • Two-night minimum stay required.
  • Maximum property occupancy: 45 guests.
  • Pet fees and extra guest fees apply.
  • Guest names, occupancy counts, and pet information must be provided at least 14 days prior to arrival.
  • Unauthorized group bookings of 8 or more cottages may be subject to additional venue fees.

Monthly Rentals

Monthly rentals are not available.

Cancellation Policy

A $25 processing fee applies to all refundable cancellations.

Deposits become non-refundable:

  • 7 days before arrival for standard reservations.
  • 14 days before arrival for holiday and Peninsula event reservations.
  • 30 days before arrival for stays of 4 nights or longer and all Whole Cove Rentals.

Cancellations made after the applicable deadline will result in forfeiture of the reservation deposit.

If we are able to rebook your accommodation for the same dates, the cancellation fee may be reduced to $25.

Early departures may result in charges equal to the reservation deposit.
